Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with various construction tasks, including carpentry, drywall hanging, and general site preparation.
- Load and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment from delivery trucks and organize them efficiently.
- Perform site cleanup duties, including removal of debris, trash, and hazardous materials to maintain a safe workspace.
- Operate basic hand and power tools safely and correctly under the supervision of a foreman.
- Follow all OSHA safety guidelines and company protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
- Measure, cut, and handle building materials with precision and care.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure project goals are met on time.
Qualifications
- No prior construction experience required; we are looking for enthusiastic learners.
- Must be physically fit and capable of performing manual labor for long shifts.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation is a plus.
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and a positive attitude toward teamwork.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
