Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradesmen with material handling and equipment operation
- Perform site preparation including debris removal and ground clearing
- Follow strict safety protocols and maintain clean work zones
- Operate hand tools (shovels, hammers, saws) and power tools under supervision
- Read basic blueprints and follow verbal instructions from supervisors
- Transport materials via wheelbarrows, carts, or forklifts (training provided)
- Adapt to changing project priorities and weather conditions
Qualifications
- Must be 18+ years old with valid photo ID
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and stand for 8+ hours
- Reliable transportation to job sites within Houston metro area
- Willingness to work early mornings (6 AM start) and occasional weekends
- Basic math skills for material measurements
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Pass mandatory drug screening and background check
- Steel-toe boots required (we provide other PPE)
