Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from the job site.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, etc.) with daily tasks and assembly.
- Operate heavy machinery and tools, including forklifts and skid steers, under supervision.
- Perform general cleanup of work areas and job sites to ensure safety standards are met.
- Follow all safety protocols, OSHA guidelines, and company policies at all times.
- Dig trenches, set forms, and assist with concrete pouring and framing.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and project plans.
Qualifications
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions (heat, rain, cold).
- Physically demanding work requiring standing, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Valid Driver's License is a plus (not always required).
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and a team-oriented attitude.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
- Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and on-call shifts.
- No prior experience is necessary; we provide comprehensive on-the-job training.
