Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by cleaning debris, digging trenches, and removing obstacles.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment to and from the site.
- Basic Assistance: Support skilled tradespeople by handing tools, mixing concrete, or performing simple carpentry tasks.
- Site Maintenance: Maintain a safe and organized work area by cleaning up spills, securing tools, and following safety protocols.
- Heavy Lifting: Perform manual labor tasks including lifting, carrying, and positioning heavy materials safely.
- Observation: Observe all safety regulations and report any hazards or unsafe conditions to the site supervisor immediately.
Qualifications
- No Experience Required: Previous construction experience is a plus but not mandatory; we provide on-the-job training.
- Physical Fitness: Must be able to perform physical labor for extended periods, including standing, walking, and lifting heavy items (up to 50 lbs).
- Availability: Must be available to work full-time, including weekends and overtime as needed.
- Tools: Basic understanding of construction tools is preferred, but willingness to learn is essential.
- Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Valid ID: Must have a valid government-issued ID to work legally in the United States.
