As a Construction Laborer, you will play a crucial role in building the infrastructure of our community. This is a hands-on role that requires physical stamina, reliability, and a positive attitude.
Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and stack building materials, tools, and equipment at job sites.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, etc.) with various tasks as directed.
- Keep job sites clean, organized, and free of hazards (safety first!).
- Operate basic construction tools and machinery under supervision.
- Dig, level, and prepare surfaces for construction projects.
- Transport materials to and from storage areas using hand trucks or dollies.
- Perform general cleanup duties to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to perform physical labor for long periods (standing, lifting, bending, climbing).
- Must be willing to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality are essential.
- Valid Driver’s License is preferred but not always required.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Willingness to learn new skills and follow safety protocols strictly.
