Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, etc.) with daily site operations and material handling.
- Load, unload, and organize construction materials, tools, and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Perform basic site preparation tasks, including digging, trenching, cleaning debris, and sweeping.
- Operate basic machinery and power tools under the direct supervision of a supervisor.
- Ensure all work areas are kept clean, organized, and compliant with OSHA safety standards.
- Communicate effectively with foremen and team members to ensure project timelines are met.
- Perform physical labor, including lifting, carrying, and moving heavy items up to 50 lbs.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid government-issued ID.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including heat and rain.
- Physically fit with the ability to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn new skills quickly.
- Basic math skills for measuring and counting materials.
- Valid driver's license preferred but not mandatory for entry-level laborer roles.
