Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) with daily tasks on residential and commercial construction sites.
- Load and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment from delivery trucks.
- Perform general site cleanup, including removing debris and trash to maintain a safe work environment.
- Operate basic construction equipment and hand tools under supervision.
- Follow all safety protocols and company guidelines to ensure a secure job site.
- Measure, cut, and prepare materials as directed by the foreman.
- Transport materials to and from the job site using dollies or manual labor.
Qualifications
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions (heat, rain, etc.) and physical environments.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50+ lbs) repeatedly throughout the day.
- Basic math skills for measuring and cutting materials.
- Reliable transportation to and from the job site.
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and the ability to work well in a team.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
