Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and laying groundwork for various projects.
- Material Logistics: Load, unload, and organize building materials, tools, and equipment at job sites to ensure efficient workflow.
- Support Trades: Provide essential support to carpenters, electricians, and other skilled professionals, ensuring their work areas are organized and safe.
- Tool Operation: Operate and maintain basic construction tools and machinery, including pressure washers, forklifts (if certified), and hand tools.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and site protocols to maintain a secure working environment for everyone.
- Site Maintenance: Keep job sites clean, organized, and free of hazards, including removing waste and debris regularly.
- Quality Assurance: Assist in ensuring that all tasks meet project specifications and quality standards.
Qualifications
- No Experience Necessary: We value attitude and work ethic over experience. On-the-job training is provided for the right candidate.
- Physical Stamina: Must be physically fit to perform manual labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs, standing, walking, and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Reliability: Strong track record of punctuality and consistent attendance is required.
- Teamwork: Ability to work well within a team and follow instructions from supervisors and foremen.
- Communication: Basic verbal communication skills and a willingness to learn new skills quickly.
