As a laborer, you will play a crucial role in our daily operations, working alongside skilled tradespeople to ensure projects are completed efficiently and safely.
Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing job sites by clearing debris, grading, and ensuring a safe work environment.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and organize construction materials, tools, and equipment with care and efficiency.
- Assistance: Support skilled workers with various tasks, including mixing concrete, digging trenches, and assisting with framing.
- Tool Operation: Learn to operate and maintain basic construction tools and power equipment under supervision.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety guidelines and company protocols to prevent accidents.
- Site Maintenance: Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards at all times.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with foremen and team members to coordinate tasks and report issues.
Qualifications
- No Experience Required: We welcome entry-level candidates who are eager to learn and willing to work hard.
- Physical Stamina: Must be physically fit, able to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and have a strong work ethic.
- Basic Math: Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic arithmetic calculations.
- Communication: Good verbal communication skills and the ability to follow instructions clearly.
- Availability: Willingness to work full-time hours, including weekends or overtime as needed.
