Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and leveling ground.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials (wood, cement, bricks) to and from the job site safely.
- Tool Operation: Operate basic hand and power tools (drills, saws, levels) under the supervision of skilled tradespeople.
- Support Trades: Provide assistance to carpenters, electricians, and masons as needed to ensure projects stay on schedule.
- Site Cleanup: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in compliance with OSHA safety regulations.
- Quality Control: Help ensure that work meets quality standards and project specifications.
Qualifications
- Willingness to Learn: A positive attitude and a strong desire to learn construction skills.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including lifting heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and standing for long durations.
- Reliability: Punctual and consistent work history.
- Communication: Basic ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
- Teamwork: Ability to work effectively as part of a larger construction crew.
- Driver's License: A valid driver's license is preferred but not strictly required.
