Responsibilities
- Assist with the loading, unloading, and transportation of construction materials, tools, and equipment.
- Perform basic site preparation tasks, including digging, clearing, and leveling.
- Operate hand tools (hammers, saws, drills) and power tools under the supervision of senior tradespeople.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in compliance with OSHA safety standards.
- Support skilled craftsmen (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) with daily tasks and project needs.
- Perform general cleanup duties at the end of each shift.
- Monitor equipment and report any maintenance issues to the site supervisor immediately.
Qualifications
- Willingness to Learn: No experience necessary; we train the right candidates.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) for extended periods.
- Attention to Safety: Must adhere to strict safety protocols and wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and able to work in various weather conditions.
- Communication: Basic ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
- Transportation: Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle are preferred.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent is a plus but not required.
