Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with general construction duties, including carpentry, drywall, and framing.
- Load, unload, and stack building materials, tools, and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Perform site cleanup, including debris removal and sweeping to maintain a safe job site.
- Operate basic construction tools and machinery (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) as directed.
- Transport materials to and from the job site using hand trucks or dollies.
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols at all times.
- Signal operators of heavy machinery to ensure safe material handling.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred; however, a strong work ethic is more important.
- Ability to work rotating night shifts (typically 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM).
- Must be able to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and stand for long periods.
- Basic ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
