Responsibilities
- Load and unload materials: Assist in transporting tools, lumber, and other supplies to and from the job site.
- Site preparation: Help prepare construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and ensuring a safe working environment.
- Tool operation: Learn to operate basic construction equipment and hand tools under supervision.
- Assist tradespeople: Support electricians, carpenters, and roofers with various tasks as needed.
- Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and organized work area, including sweeping floors and organizing tools.
- Follow safety protocols: Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and company policies at all times.
Qualifications
- No experience required: We welcome entry-level applicants looking to break into the construction industry.
- Physical stamina: Ability to stand, walk, lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs), and work in various weather conditions.
- Reliability: Must be punctual and dependable with a history of consistent attendance.
- Teamwork: Strong ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of professionals.
- Communication: Basic ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license preferred (not always required).
