Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with daily tasks such as framing, drywall hanging, painting, and general cleanup.
- Load, unload, and organize construction materials at job sites efficiently.
- Operate basic power tools and hand tools safely and correctly.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with OSHA safety standards.
- Perform site preparation tasks including digging, mixing concrete, and light demolition.
- Communicate effectively with foremen and team members to ensure project milestones are met.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift, carry, and hold heavy objects (50+ lbs) for extended periods.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions and physical environments.
- Basic reading and comprehension skills to follow safety instructions and blueprints.
- Reliable transportation to and from the job site.
- Ability to stand, walk, and climb stairs/ladders for long durations.
- Strong work ethic and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
