Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up temporary structures.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and organize building materials, tools, and equipment using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Tool Operation: Operate power tools and hand tools safely under the supervision of senior crew members.
- Safety Compliance: Strictly adhere to OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to ensure a safe working environment for everyone.
- Site Maintenance: Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards at all times.
- Communication: Effectively communicate with foremen, crew leads, and other team members to ensure project tasks are completed efficiently.
Qualifications
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and stand or walk on uneven terrain for extended periods.
- Reliability: Must have a strong work ethic and be willing to work a full-time schedule, including weekends if necessary.
- Willingness to Learn: No prior experience is required; we are looking for eager candidates ready to be trained.
- Basic Skills: Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math calculations.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license is preferred but not mandatory.
