Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, leveling ground, and setting up work areas.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials using hand trucks, forklifts, or heavy machinery.
- Tool Operation: Operate basic hand and power tools under the supervision of experienced crew members.
- Assistance: Help skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, etc.) with various tasks as needed.
- Site Maintenance: Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe in accordance with OSHA regulations.
- Communication: Effectively communicate with site foremen and team members to ensure project goals are met.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform manual labor for extended periods, including lifting heavy objects and working in various weather conditions.
- Reliability: Punctual, dependable, and consistent work history.
- Communication: Basic verbal communication skills; ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Teamwork: Willingness to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- License: Valid driver's license is preferred.
