Responsibilities
- Load and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment from delivery trucks.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, etc.) with various tasks on the job site.
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up forms.
- Operate basic machinery and power tools under supervision.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA safety standards.
- Measure, cut, and arrange building materials.
- Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment.
Qualifications
- Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including lifting heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).
- Willingness to learn and follow safety protocols strictly.
- Basic math skills for measuring and estimating materials.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to the job site.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong work ethic and team-oriented attitude.
- High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
