Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradesmen with construction tasks including material handling and site preparation
- Operate hand/power tools safely under supervision (training provided)
- Perform physical labor such as digging, lifting, and debris removal
- Maintain clean and organized job sites following safety protocols
- Follow blueprints and verbal instructions from site supervisors
- Participate in daily safety briefings and toolbox meetings
- Support concrete work, framing, and finishing tasks as needed
Qualifications
- No prior construction experience required
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly and perform physically demanding work
- Valid driver's license preferred but not mandatory
- Reliable transportation to job sites in Charlotte metro area
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Ability to follow instructions and maintain safety standards
- Basic math skills for material measurements
