Responsibilities
- Assist with general construction tasks including digging, lifting, and carrying heavy materials.
- Operate basic construction tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Unload and organize materials from delivery trucks.
- Prepare construction sites by cleaning debris and ensuring a safe working area.
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA regulations strictly.
- Perform site cleanup and maintenance as directed by the Site Supervisor.
- Support framing, concrete finishing, or general carpentry duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Must be physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Reliable transportation to the job site in Oakland.
- Basic knowledge of construction safety is a plus but not required.
- Willingness to learn new skills and take direction from supervisors.
- Valid Driver’s License (preferred).
