Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) with daily site operations and tasks.
- Perform manual labor tasks including digging, lifting, and carrying heavy materials.
- Operate construction equipment and tools safely and efficiently.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints, plans, and specifications.
- Ensure the job site is clean, organized, and compliant with OSHA safety regulations.
- Unload and stock materials at the job site to maintain workflow.
- Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Previous construction or general labor experience is a plus but not strictly required.
- Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods in various weather conditions.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and quality standards.
- Basic math skills for measuring and estimating.
