Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from the job site efficiently and safely.
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and leveling ground as directed.
- Tool Operation: Operate basic power tools and hand tools, and assist with operating heavy machinery under supervision.
- Site Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with company safety protocols.
- Trade Support: Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, etc.) with various on-site tasks as required.
- Communication: Effectively communicate with site supervisors and team members to ensure project milestones are met.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including lifting heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).
- Reliability: A strong work ethic and a commitment to showing up on time every day.
- Experience: Previous experience in construction, landscaping, or general labor is preferred but not required; we value attitude over experience.
- Transportation: Must have a valid driver's license and reliable personal transportation.
- Safety Mindset: A proactive approach to safety and following all safety guidelines on the job site.
