Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) with daily tasks and project execution.
- Load, unload, and distribute construction materials from trucks to job sites efficiently.
- Operate power tools and hand tools safely and correctly under supervision.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with OSHA safety regulations.
- Perform basic site preparation, including digging, leveling, and debris removal.
- Follow verbal and written instructions from site supervisors and project managers.
- Assist in minor construction tasks such as framing, drywall hanging, or concrete finishing as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (50+ lbs) repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and safety protocols is a plus but not required.
- Physical stamina and the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and a willingness to learn new skills.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
