Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradesmen with construction tasks including site preparation, material handling, and cleanup
- Operate basic hand tools and equipment under supervision (e.g., shovels, wheelbarrows, saws)
- Follow strict safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment
- Load/unload construction materials and transport them to designated areas
- Perform physical tasks such as digging, lifting (up to 50 lbs), and debris removal
- Read and interpret basic instructions and work orders
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines
Qualifications
- No prior experience required – training provided
- Must be physically capable of standing, walking, and lifting heavy objects
- Valid driver's license preferred (not mandatory)
- Ability to work in various weather conditions (heat, rain, cold)
- Strong work ethic and punctuality essential
- Basic communication skills in English
