Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters, masons, and other tradespeople with material handling and site preparation
- Operate basic hand/power tools safely under supervision (saws, drills, levels)
- Perform site cleanup, debris removal, and waste management
- Read and interpret basic construction plans and safety protocols
- Assist with concrete pours, scaffolding setup, and equipment operation
- Maintain organized job sites and report safety hazards immediately
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA 10-hour Construction certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in all weather conditions
- Reliable transportation to job sites within Boston Metro area
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
- Previous construction experience preferred but not required
