Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters, masons, and other trades with material handling and site preparation
- Operate hand/power tools safely (saws, drills, jackhammers, etc.)
- Perform site cleanup, debris removal, and waste management
- Read and interpret basic construction plans and blueprints
- Adhere to strict OSHA safety protocols and site-specific requirements
- Maintain equipment cleanliness and basic tool maintenance
- Support trenching, excavation, and backfilling operations
- Assist in concrete pouring and finishing as needed
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months construction labor experience preferred
- Valid OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and perform physical labor
- Reliable transportation to job sites across King County
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
- Ability to work in all weather conditions and stand for extended periods
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
