Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with material handling, site preparation, and cleanup tasks
- Operate hand/power tools safely including jackhammers, saws, and drills
- Load/unconstruction equipment and materials following OSHA guidelines
- Maintain job site cleanliness and safety standards throughout shifts
- Read blueprints and follow verbal/written instructions from supervisors
- Perform physical tasks including digging, lifting (up to 50 lbs), and carrying
- Report equipment malfunctions and safety hazards immediately
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean record
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred
- Ability to work outdoors in extreme weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and materials
- Physical stamina and ability to stand/walk 8+ hours daily
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Reliable transportation to job sites across San Antonio
