Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters, masons, and equipment operators on construction sites
- Prepare sites by clearing debris, setting up barricades, and organizing materials
- Perform heavy lifting, excavation support, and material handling up to 50 lbs
- Operate basic tools (shovels, wheelbarrows, jackhammers) under supervision
- Maintain strict adherence to OSHA safety protocols and site cleanliness
- Support concrete pouring, framing, and finishing tasks as needed
Qualifications
- Valid California Driver's License and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Basic tool knowledge and willingness to learn equipment operation
- Physical stamina to work in outdoor conditions (heat, heights, noise)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Previous construction or landscaping experience preferred
- Ability to work weekends and flexible shifts (early mornings/afternoons)
