Responsibilities
- Perform physical tasks including digging, lifting materials (up to 50 lbs), and operating hand/power tools
- Assist skilled tradespeople with site preparation, demolition, and cleanup
- Maintain organized and safe work environments following OSHA standards
- Read and interpret basic construction blueprints and instructions
- Transport materials and equipment to designated work areas
- Report project progress and equipment issues to supervisors
- Participate in daily safety briefings and toolbox meetings
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months construction or related labor experience preferred
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
- Physical stamina to work in outdoor conditions (heat, rain, etc.)
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment
- Strong teamwork ethic and ability to follow instructions
- High school diploma or equivalent required
