Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with construction tasks including material handling, site preparation, and cleanup
- Operate basic hand tools (hammers, shovels, levels) and light equipment under supervision
- Load/unload construction materials and maintain organized job sites
- Follow safety protocols and wear required PPE (hard hat, steel-toed boots, etc.)
- Perform physical tasks such as digging, lifting, carrying, and assembling structures
- Assist with demolition and debris removal as needed
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members
Qualifications
- No prior construction experience required – we train all team members
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions
- Valid driver's license preferred but not required
- Reliable transportation to job sites across the Mesa area
- Must pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Willingness to work flexible hours including early mornings and weekends
- Basic math skills for material measurements and inventory
- Positive attitude and commitment to workplace safety
