Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with material handling, site preparation, and cleanup
- Operate hand/power tools safely and effectively under supervision
- Read basic blueprints and follow verbal instructions from site managers
- Maintain strict adherence to OSHA safety protocols and project guidelines
- Perform physical tasks including lifting (up to 50 lbs), digging, and material transport
- Complete daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
- Support project timelines by efficiently executing assigned tasks
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months construction or labor experience preferred
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to work in outdoor environments with exposure to weather
- Basic understanding of construction terminology and tools
- Physical stamina to perform demanding tasks for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
