Responsibilities
- Assist skilled carpenters, masons, and electricians with site preparation and material handling
- Operate power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) and equipment safely per OSHA standards
- Load/unload materials, maintain clean job sites, and manage waste disposal
- Read blueprints and follow verbal instructions to execute tasks accurately
- Perform demolition, excavation support, and basic concrete finishing
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and report hazards immediately
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED acceptable)
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and materials preferred
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Flexibility to work weekends and early mornings as needed
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
