Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation tasks including excavation, trenching, and material handling
- Assist carpenters, masons, and other trades with layout, measurements, and installation
- Operate hand/power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) safely and efficiently
- Maintain clean, organized job sites and comply with OSHA safety protocols
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment using proper lifting techniques
- Read blueprints and follow verbal instructions from supervisors
- Perform minor concrete work, framing support, and finish cleanup
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction/labor experience or equivalent vocational training
- Valid California Driver's License and reliable transportation
- OSHA 10-Hour Construction Certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of power tools and construction materials
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
- Flexible availability including weekend/evening shifts
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screening
