Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters and tradespeople with material handling and equipment operation
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris and setting up safety barriers
- Operate hand/power tools safely and efficiently under supervision
- Read basic blueprints and follow verbal instructions for task completion
- Maintain clean and organized work areas to meet OSHA standards
- Support demolition and renovation tasks with precision and care
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and materials
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Valid driver's license with reliable transportation
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred (training provided)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols
- Ability to work flexible shifts including early mornings/weekends
