Responsibilities
- Assist project managers and skilled tradespeople (electricians, carpenters, plumbers) with daily site operations.
- Load, unload, and organize construction materials, tools, and equipment efficiently.
- Prepare job sites by clearing debris, setting up barriers, and ensuring a clean, organized workspace.
- Perform basic measurements and cut materials to size as directed by supervisors.
- Transport heavy items safely using proper lifting techniques and hand trucks.
- Follow all OSHA safety guidelines and company protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
- Operate basic machinery (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) under supervision when certified.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred but not required.
- Physically fit and able to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable personal transportation.
- Basic math skills for measuring and material estimation.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions and on-site.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work well within a team.
