Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with daily construction tasks and site preparation.
- Load and unload building materials, tools, and equipment from trucks and trailers.
- Operate basic construction machinery, such as forklifts or pallet jacks, after certification.
- Perform general cleanup of job sites, including debris removal and waste disposal.
- Follow all safety regulations and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Measure, cut, and prepare materials to specifications under supervision.
- Transport materials and tools between different areas of the construction site efficiently.
Qualifications
- Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly and standing for long periods.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Basic understanding of construction safety standards is a plus but not required.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality.
- Valid driver's license (preferred for site transport).
- Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
- Physical stamina and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
