Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and distribute construction materials, tools, and equipment to and from the job site.
- Site Maintenance: Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of debris to ensure a safe working environment.
- Assistance: Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, etc.) with various tasks as directed by the site supervisor.
- Tool Operation: Operate basic construction tools and machinery under supervision after training.
- Demolition & Cleanup: Assist in demolition duties and perform final cleanup after projects are completed.
- Transport: Transport heavy items using dollies, hand trucks, or forklifts (when available).
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs), and perform manual labor in various weather conditions.
- Reliability: Punctual, dependable, and willing to work as part of a team.
- Communication: Basic ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
- Willingness to Learn: A positive attitude and eagerness to acquire new skills.
- Availability: Must be available for part-time shifts, including weekends or overtime if needed.
