Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, erecting temporary barriers, and ensuring the work area is clean and organized.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from the job site using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual labor as required.
- Trade Assistance: Provide support to skilled tradespeople, including carpenters, electricians, and masons by holding tools, fetching supplies, and performing basic setup tasks.
- Safety Compliance: Strictly adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and site-specific safety protocols to maintain a secure working environment for everyone.
- Tool Maintenance: Inspect, clean, and store tools and equipment properly after use to ensure longevity and safety.
- Demolition & Cleanup: Perform light demolition tasks and perform general cleanup duties at the end of each shift.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Must be able to stand, walk, lift, and carry heavy objects (up to 50+ lbs) for extended periods and work in various weather conditions.
- Willingness to Learn: A strong desire to learn new skills and a positive attitude toward instruction from supervisors.
- Reliability: Punctual and consistent attendance is mandatory for all shifts.
- Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Authorization: Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
- No Experience Required: High school diploma or GED preferred, but not mandatory for this entry-level role.
