Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters and masons with material handling and site preparation
- Operate hand/power tools safely (saws, drills, levels)
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment
- Maintain clean, organized job sites and adhere to OSHA standards
- Support concrete pours, framing, and finish work as needed
- Perform physical tasks including digging, lifting, and debris removal
- Follow supervisor instructions precisely to maintain project timelines
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and work in all weather conditions
- Basic tool knowledge (hammers, saws, measuring tools)
- Strong work ethic and punctuality with zero-tolerance for tardiness
- OSHA 10 certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Background check and drug screening required
- Availability for early morning starts (6 AM) and weekend shifts
- Previous construction experience preferred but not required
