Responsibilities
- Assist in the loading, unloading, and staging of construction materials and tools.
- Perform basic site preparation tasks, including excavation, cleanup, and debris removal.
- Operate basic construction equipment and hand tools under the supervision of a foreman.
- Support skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) with daily tasks and measurements.
- Maintain a clean and safe job site in strict compliance with OSHA safety regulations.
- Transport materials to and from job sites efficiently and safely.
- Follow written and verbal instructions regarding project timelines and safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Physically fit and able to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) for extended periods.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Basic math skills and ability to read a tape measure.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Willingness to learn and adhere to strict safety guidelines.
- Experience in construction or general labor is a plus but not required.
