Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
- Assist skilled tradespeople with various tasks, including framing, drywall installation, and painting.
- Operate basic construction equipment and hand tools under supervision.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following all OSHA safety regulations.
- Measure and cut materials as directed by the site supervisor.
- Perform general cleanup duties on-site to ensure project readiness.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and work in various weather conditions.
- Previous construction experience is a plus but not required; on-the-job training provided.
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and safety practices is beneficial.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work well within a team.
