Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and organize construction materials, tools, and equipment on-site.
- Site Support: Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, etc.) with various tasks to ensure projects run smoothly.
- Site Maintenance: Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of debris to ensure a safe environment.
- Equipment Operation: Operate basic construction equipment and tools safely under supervision.
- Assistance: Dig, trench, and perform general labor tasks as directed by project supervisors.
- Documentation: Complete daily logs and safety checklists accurately.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, lift, and carry heavy objects (up to 50+ lbs) for extended periods.
- Experience: Previous construction labor experience is a plus but not required; on-the-job training provided.
- Tools: Basic understanding of construction tools and safety gear.
- Reliability: Must be punctual and able to work flexible hours, including weekends if necessary.
- Communication: Good verbal communication skills and the ability to follow instructions clearly.
- Availability: Must be available for part-time shifts on a weekly basis.
