Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Site Preparation: Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and leveling the ground as directed by supervisors.
- Equipment Support: Assist skilled tradespeople (electricians, plumbers, carpenters) by providing necessary tools and materials.
- Cleanup: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area by removing waste and debris at the end of each shift.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to ensure a safe working environment for everyone.
- Assistance: Perform general labor tasks including painting, scaffolding, and basic demolition under supervision.
Qualifications
- Physical Fitness: Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including lifting up to 50 lbs and standing/walking on uneven terrain.
- Availability: Must be available for part-time shifts, including weekends and evenings as needed.
- Reliability: Strong work ethic and punctuality; ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Communication: Basic ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
- Experience: Prior construction experience is a plus, but not required; on-the-job training is provided.
- Valid Driver's License: Must have a current driver's license and reliable transportation to and from the job site.
