Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in clearing, digging, and preparing construction sites for various building activities.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment safely to and from the site.
- Tool Operation: Operate basic construction tools and power equipment under the supervision of a foreman.
- Site Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by removing debris and waste.
- Safety Compliance: Strictly adhere to OSHA safety guidelines and company protocols to ensure a secure job site.
- Assistance: Provide general assistance to skilled tradespeople, including carpenters and electricians, as needed.
- Documentation: Help with basic site documentation and reporting as required.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous construction or general labor experience is preferred but not mandatory; we provide on-the-job training.
- Physical Stamina: Must be physically fit and capable of lifting heavy items (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly.
- License: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
- Availability: Flexible availability for part-time shifts, including mornings, afternoons, or weekends.
- Communication: Ability to follow verbal and written instructions clearly and effectively.
- Tools: Willingness to provide your own steel-toed boots and basic personal protective equipment (PPE).
