Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing job sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up scaffolding.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and organize building materials, tools, and equipment efficiently.
- Tool Operation: Operate basic hand and power tools safely under the supervision of a foreman.
- Cleaning & Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in strict compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Assistance: Support skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, etc.) with various tasks to ensure project milestones are met.
- Heavy Lifting: Perform physical labor including lifting, carrying, and moving heavy materials and supplies.
- Quality Assurance: Help ensure all work meets the necessary quality standards and project specifications.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform heavy physical labor for long hours, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Driver’s License: A valid, current driver’s license is required.
- Reliability: Must be punctual and able to adhere to a consistent schedule.
- Willingness to Learn: No prior experience is necessary; we provide on-the-job training for motivated candidates.
- Teamwork: Strong ability to work collaboratively with a diverse crew in various weather conditions.
- Attention to Detail: Keen eye for identifying potential safety hazards or defects in materials.
