As a Laborer, you will play a vital role in our daily operations, supporting our expert tradespeople and ensuring our projects are completed efficiently and safely. We offer competitive hourly wages, flexible part-time schedules, and a supportive work environment.
Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Site Preparation: Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, excavating areas, and ensuring proper grading.
- Equipment Support: Assist in the setup and operation of basic construction equipment and power tools under supervision.
- Cleanliness: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by following all safety protocols and regulations.
- Assistance: Support journey-level tradespeople (electricians, plumbers, carpenters) with various on-site tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- Experience: Prior experience in construction or general labor is preferred but not required; on-the-job training is available.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform heavy manual labor, including lifting up to 50+ lbs, standing for long periods, and working in various weather conditions.
- Safety Conscious: Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and the ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Communication: Basic communication skills and the ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Reliability: A strong work ethic and the ability to arrive on time for shifts consistently.
