Responsibilities
- Assist skilled trades with material handling, site preparation, and equipment operation
- Execute physically demanding tasks including digging, lifting, and carrying materials up to 50 lbs
- Maintain clean, organized job sites following OSHA safety protocols
- Operate hand/power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) and construction machinery
- Read blueprints and follow instructions from site supervisors
- Participate in scaffold assembly/disassembly and temporary structure setup
- Report hazards and maintain daily equipment inspection logs
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction or labor experience preferred
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to work in extreme weather conditions (heat, cold, rain)
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Physical stamina to perform 8+ hour shifts with frequent bending/kneeling
- Basic math skills for material measurement and inventory
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Pre-employment drug screening required
