Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, etc.) with daily construction tasks.
- Load, unload, and organize materials and tools on job sites efficiently.
- Operate power tools and heavy machinery safely and correctly.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Perform basic measurements, cutting, and fitting of materials as directed.
- Assist in site preparation, including excavation, demolition, and concrete pouring support.
- Follow verbal and written instructions from site supervisors and foremen.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in construction or general labor is preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality.
- Basic knowledge of construction safety protocols is a plus.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions.
- Team-oriented attitude with good communication skills.
