Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) with daily site tasks, installations, and material handling.
- Load, unload, and transport heavy construction materials to and from the job site using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Prepare job sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up temporary structures.
- Perform basic measurements and cut materials (wood, drywall, metal) to specifications using hand and power tools.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in strict compliance with OSHA safety standards and company protocols.
- Operate and maintain a variety of construction tools safely and efficiently.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints, drawings, and project plans.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Previous experience in construction, landscaping, or general labor is highly preferred.
- Must possess a valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods in various weather conditions.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and adherence to protocols.
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and terminology is a plus.
- Must be available for full-time hours, including weekends if necessary.
