Responsibilities
- Perform physical tasks including site preparation, excavation, and material handling
- Operate hand/power tools safely and efficiently (saws, drills, jackhammers)
- Assist skilled trades with material installation and project completion
- Maintain clean, organized job sites and adhere to OSHA safety standards
- Read blueprints and follow supervisor instructions for project accuracy
- Transport materials via heavy equipment operation (forklifts, skid steers)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of commercial/residential construction experience
- OSHA 10 certification required (or willingness to obtain immediately)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic blueprint reading and measurement skills
- Strong work ethic and punctuality with zero-tolerance policy for lateness
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Experience with concrete forming, rebar, or masonry preferred
