Responsibilities
- Execute construction tasks including excavation, concrete pouring, framing, and material handling
- Operate hand/power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) and heavy equipment (with certification)
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and maintain clean, organized work sites
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, masons, electricians) with project execution
- Read blueprints and follow construction plans accurately
- Transport materials using wheelbarrows, forklifts, or manual lifting
- Perform site preparation tasks including grading, trenching, and debris removal
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and stand for 8+ hours
- OSHA 10 certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Flexibility to work early mornings (5:30 AM starts) and weekends
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Experience with construction tools/equipment preferred but not required
